New Year's party at Kushikoma, a famous Japanese sake izakaya. It was my first time at Kushikoma, so I was really looking forward to it! We had a lot of good sake to enjoy, not to mention famous ones like Jyusyodai, Jikin, and Shinsai. I enjoyed the new sake from Shinsei, the new sake from Jyusyuyo, and the new sake from Jyusyuyo that is only available at this time of year. I had a lot of fun talking with the proprietress about sake. I'd like to go back again.

Part 2 of sitting and drinking in what seems to be the holy land of the fourteenth generation.
The sourness is even clearer than the sake Mirai I read earlier. Maybe because it was just opened, it was very fresh.
The aroma was also vivid. (My memory is fuzzy, so I can't use metaphors.)
The aftertaste is clean and crisp, but the flavor remains, giving a happy post-drinking feeling.
I could understand why Jyushiyo is so highly regarded.

Sitting and drinking in what seems to be the sacred place of the fourteenth generation.
The sweetness was cleaner than I had imagined, and the acidity was more characteristic.
The aroma was subdued.
The lingering aftertaste is quick and crisp, and you can't help but move on to the next cup. It lingers to a frightening degree.
However, I prefer the Omachi I drank next.

Today's white wine. A magical drink. It is a wonderful feeling before it enters the mouth. The beauty of each series of the Shinsei series unfolds like a story: COVID-19 is a reconstruction support sake in response to the trend, and it's only for commercial shops.
