Miki Mai
Cheesy aroma. Caramelized sweetness and bitterness. Light and soft. It flows in like white water. The sweetness is asserted once more in the throat. Interesting.
Purchased at a sake brewery. Limited edition at the brewery store.
Kamisuwa Highway Machiaruki Drinking Tour 10/5 I went last week.
The event is a big one, with five sake breweries drinking and walking along the national highway. The line for the sake tasting, which was long last year, was much smoother this time. While waiting in line, a folk song was performed by local citizens, and both customers and breweries joined in the chorus of "yosasayoi yosasayoi". It was a very good improvement.
But the speed of looping the queue increased, and I was tired because I had to walk quite a bit. This is my problem.
Suwa 5 Breweries Tour (1)
Purchase the Suwa 5 Breweries Tour set for 3,000 yen at the tourist information center in Kamisuwa Station. 22 tastings in total are available at the 5 breweries. Includes a drawstring, glass, and sticker mount.
The first brewery, Maihime.
There are 5 tastings. The building is quaint, with an old private house style. The waiter is very kind 😊.
My impression of the sake was Midoro-Omachi.
Peachy sweetness. It is not too strong and refreshing. You can also taste the umami. It had a very rich aroma.
I liked it so much that I bought a bottle before leaving.
Good evening, Hiro-san!
I knew that in the fall, 5 breweries have a "kurabiraki" event, but I didn't know they usually have a set tour of 5 breweries in Suwa 😄 Suwa is indeed a sake brewery.
I'm sure you can get drunk on 22 cups of sake even if it's the size of a boar cup😅.
Good evening, Pon-chan.
If this is helpful, it is worth posting.
By the way, some breweries are closed on certain days of the week, so you should check the website before you go 😆.
Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo.
I was not as enthusiastic as at the Kurabiraki festival, but there were some accents such as collecting stamps and stickers from 5 breweries. I recommend it because you can go around slowly 😆.
Shinshu: Sake Brewery Tour in Suwa
No matter the bad weather ☔️
I went on a long-awaited Suwa Gozo saké tour!
First, in order of proximity to Kamisuwa Station: 🚶♀️
Maihime❣️
We tasted 5 kinds of saké (15ml each).
The one I liked the most
Unfiltered raw sake
The word of invincibility!
The label design is super classic, but
but it was right in the middle of modern 🎶.
What 5 breweries 🌟 within 10 minutes walking distance of the brewery tour!
The best of the best 👏👏👏👏👏👏.
☔️The crowds were modest and it was a nice day to be in a quiet place.
It was a perfect day to visit the brewery.
But inside the brewery, there was a lot of heat from drunken people.
The sliding glass door was fogged up stiffly.
Good evening, Mr. Asanami. (≧▽≦)
Congratulations on your brewery tour in Shinshu! ㊗
I too enjoyed the sake tasting event at Takashimaya, and I was also madly excited to finally get back to my daily routine. Back to you!
Tomoyuki Kumagai, good evening. ❗️Thank you for your congratulatory comments🥂♪ Shinshu Suwa was a sacred place of sacred places😭I continue to be in a room drinking frenzy! A sake cup of gratitude for a normal day 🎶.
Good morning, Asanami-san!
Congratulations on your long-awaited tour of the five Suwa breweries: 〰︎🎉!
Five breweries within 10 minutes walking distance is great 😆💕!
I guess 🚙 is out of the question to enjoy tasting 🤔.
I wish I could be part of the madness 🤣.
Asanami, this one is just around the corner,
You have conquered all five breweries, haven't you? The tastings are back!
It looks like fun to be back 😊.
Good morning, Tsubu-chan. ❗️ This was a fun event. I was drunk all day 😋I parked my car at a hotel near the train station and just walked 🚶♀️ Koshu Kaido is a busy road, so beware of staggered steps 😆.
Asanami, are you going to the remote Mikotsuru as well?
If you can find a freshly made fresh pressed one that will be bottled on the spot, please do, enjoy 😀.
Hi Asaba 😊.
You posted Suiro two years ago.
I drank it for the first time and became a big fan 💕
Unfortunately this brand is hard to find outside of Nagano 😭
superbebe, thank you for your comment 😊I miss Nagano so much🤗I know exactly how you feel. It's true that Midoro-I may only be able to get it in my hometown. I did my best to bring it back home!
Thank you for your contribution.......I am the group owner! When I lived in Chino, Maihime was the first among the five Suwa breweries that I went to buy.
Hello, Aura-sama of Hama! I am a captive of Shinshu sake 🤩Maihime-san was the start of my tour of five breweries😊It was a good sake trip! I will definitely revisit ^_^.
Next up is Maihime Sake Brewery❣️

Haruei Chichi, Suwa area is densely populated with sake breweries, so there must have been a lord who liked to drink 😅.
The miso ramen is very good, but the spicy shibi is very spicy and my wife's favorite, but I can't order it😅.
Maihime sake brewery revisited.
I got a bottle of the summer Jun Gin, which is not a raw sake, but a fire-hardened one.
It was recommended to drink it chilled.
Alcohol content 15%.
Rice polishing ratio 59
Miyamanishiki 100%.
As a summer sake, it is dry and light.
It has a light sweetness and a sharp bitterness.
You can drink it like a white wine.
You can drink it like white wine.
It goes well with today's sansai and vegetable tempura.

The seventh expedition is again Maihime.
I finally overtook the Akita team ❗️.
The only partition was made with a plastic curtain
I'm driving, so my partner is tasting.

The aroma is rich, and the taste of rice and
The sourness like an apple comes in a good mix.
When you taste it
We have a delicious seasonal limited raw sake.
You can feel the spirit of the local sake.
We eat it with tempura of cod's leaf, kogomi and maitake mushroom.

Expedition #4: Suwa District Maihime Brewery
It is about a 5-minute walk from the Miyasaka Brewery of Masumi.
Rice polishing ratio 59
Alcohol content 17 degrees
100% Miyamanishiki from Nagano
The first taste comes from the top of the bottle, with a bitter taste on the tongue. It has a strong acidity and goes well with meat dishes.
When you mix it, the taste becomes mellow and muddled sake is easy to drink.
Masumi's sweetness, Maihime's bitterness, taste is divided.
We eat it with teppan-yaki, sashimi, soaked kogomi and chikuwa cucumber.
