Yesterday I had a delicious sake at my first Comenohana and felt good when I got home, so I opened a bottle of this one.
Akabu by Akabu Shuzo.
This time it was Junmai Ginjo NEWBORN.
This is the first label we have received.
Many people have already posted about this sake, so I was looking forward to it.
I will have it right away.
First, the aroma. It has a refreshing yet vanilla-like aroma.
In the mouth, there is a refreshing sweetness with a hint of sake from the fresh entrance.
It also has a slightly chili taste and a refreshing bitter pungent taste, again very well balanced.
It is delicious.
The bitterness is a little stronger when paired with a meal, and it does not interfere with the food.
It was a very pleasant evening, and I am glad that I was able to encounter new and delicious sake today.
Day 3
It has a refreshing sweetness, bitterness, and saltiness on the palate, with a crisp balance.
During the meal, unlike the beginning of drinking, I felt that the mild taste made the umami stand out even more.
It was a night when I was deeply blissful, thinking that this is a truly delicious sake.
