- AninjaA beautiful red! Made from red rice. The sake brewer is female and well known (and hyped) and loved for her very personal brews. This one was extraordinary fruity and just the right amount of sweet. Not very "ricy" at all, but clearly not like a port or dessert wine, either, still a nihonshu. I loved it. Both my drinking companion and was reminded of strawberries, and it wasn't from the colour alone.

- AninjaA very thin, refined flavour with a little bit of acidic aftertaste. Definitely a nihonshu for beginners and tourists, way too vague for me. But at the same time, not bad in any way, it wouls be good to serve for friends who shy away from the taste of rice.

- AninjaServed hot. I asked for something very "ricy" and unique served hot, since we just came in from the cold. It wasn't that "ricy" to my tastebuds even though it's made on (mostly?) unpolished rice. But quite umami. I saw someone else describe it having notes of cheese and probably being good with cheese, and I agree with the second part. A very nice one-time experience.
