The first sip of this sake has a refreshing fruitiness that continues to be delicious. An enjoyable sake. A nice fruity Sake that has a mild peach flavor and a good level of umami. A fine Sake to drink on its own or with food.

Yamaboushi Bakurai Karakuchi Junmai Nama Genshu The initial flavor is a tangy bitterness with a slight sweetness afterwards, kind of like apricot. Pairs nicely with buratta or prosciutto. It is definitely Karakuchi The label says that The Nihonshu-do I’d +28 but the flavor is not that crazy level dry. Maybe the acidity is high but unfortunately it is not listed. Very interesting. We ordered it twice!

Oh no… Hashigo Well here we are at Sake Bar Marumoto. Fukukocho Junmai Ginjo Muka-atsu Nakadare mild sweetness with a medium strong tangy bitterness on the back of the tongue. Flavor lingers in your mouth maybe it’s the Koji flavor. I like it!
