I had kept it in the refrigerator for a while after purchasing it, so the first time I drank it cold as it was. I would say what I felt was "water? I was surprised at how good it tasted. I could hardly taste it before it tasted good or bad, so there was no way to evaluate it. It is not something I would willingly drink....
A few days later, I was told that this sake must be heated, so I warmed it up and drank it again, but this time it was not "hot water? It was not "hot water" at all. The umami of the rice and a hint of sweetness appeared, and it was quite good. It is definitely tastier warmed up.
It was the first time I had had a honjozo sake, and I learned a lot. I'd like to try a sake that tastes good warmed up every once in a while...even though it will be summer from now on...

It was the first Tokushima sake I had ever tasted, and it had won the gold medal at the Delicious Sake with a Glass of Wine Award 2024. I was expecting a refreshing wine like Kouji, which won the same award. It was delicious, but the sweetness was a bit off my taste buds (I found it a bit bitter), but I got used to it a few days after opening the bottle and it didn't bother me much anymore.

The fruity taste reminded me of grapefruit and the gaseous sensation made me feel it was very tasty. I was surprised that a sake as good as this is ranked 10th in Niigata sake by Sake-no-wa....what an idiot. This is really good and I want to buy it again!

I thought they didn't sell Junmai, but Bic Camera usually sells it...quite an assortment not to be underestimated. They also had a lot of Koshi apples.
I wrote that I would do my homework on the Daiginjo, so I tried it, and while this one was refreshing, it also had umami and sweetness, and it was not unpleasantly sweet, but rather delicious. I'm not a believer in "meshinbo," so I'm willing to give it a try if I see something with a good reputation, even if it's an alcohol-added drink.
