I'd say it's a fruity strain.
It has a complexity. Mellow is the right word. It's like adding apple and banana. My wife said it was a sweet sake made from sake lees.
Melon-like aroma. I thought it was a dry taste, but it opened the door to fruity types. In a tin cup, the acidity is pronounced and tangy. After a few days, the freshness drops, but the rice flavor comes forward.
