All of Kikumori's labels have an impact, but this one stands out from the rest.

The color is clear with a very light yellowish tint.
The aroma is not gorgeous, nutty, and most noticeable is the strong scent of alcohol.
The taste is full-bodied with a rich rice flavor and sweet acidity spreading over the tongue, with a strong alcoholic sensation after swallowing, leaving an astringent and slightly spicy aftertaste.
The aroma that quickly passes through the nose is the aroma of alcohol and koji (malted rice).
The alcohol content is 17%, but it makes you feel quite dizzy and intoxicated. 😵💫

This time it is a sake from Iwate's Kikumori Sake Brewery.
President Fujimura was at the Kikumori Fair at Asano Sake Shop the other day, so I went to see him.
I had no prior knowledge of the brewery, but when I spoke to him, he explained in detail about the sake and the brewery from the beginning 😊 He was more serious than the image on the label.
This posthumous mackerel is a raw sake, but it seems to be kept at room temperature in the brewery,
I thought that might be the reason why I felt the various flavors were different at the restaurant, where they serve cold sake, so I took it home and drank it again.
It is a yellowish sake with a light green tint. First, it was served at room temperature.
The first aroma is of young bamboo and nuts.
It has a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is rich and full-bodied. The alcohol attack is followed by a mild sweetness from the koji malt and a sharply defined sourness and bitterness that gradually dissipates the lingering sweetness.
When heated, the alcohol taste is calmed down and the acidity is mellowed. It is delicious warmed up.
Pairing: Deep-fried mackerel with tatsuta-age (mackerel).
I think it's a pun 😅If it's a heated sake, it's possible.
The problem with postmortem mackerel is the photography.
The bottle is the most photogenic bottle I've ever seen.
