A cup of sake after a long time.
The brewery is located in Kanda, Karatsu City.
The name evoked various historical scenes, such as the Korean invasion, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and Karatsu Castle, and as I was about to drink it, the design of Yorimitsu Minamoto's helmet (Yoneyacho) on the side of the cup, the 11th mountain of Karatsu Kunchi, also evoked the history before that.
The first taste is rugged, but the aftertaste is clean and easy to drink as an everyday sake.
Today, I went to Ruikoma Sake Shop to participate in the Tachibana StampVal event.
Two drinks and a cheese for 500 yen!
I would like to get a stamp and go to various stores to spin a rattle, but I don't go to other stores, so...
This is a hidden sake? This is "Juraku Taikoh" sake.
3,300 yen for 720 ml.
It is a very limited sake, limited to 100 bottles and only available at the opening of the brewery.
Polishing ratio 38%.
It is gorgeous, fruity, and sweet, but it has a strong umami flavor even though the rice is polished a lot. It is extremely delicious!
I heard that the person who drank it afterwards bought the whole stock 😳.
Before drinking this, I had a welcome drink of Kisenju Junmai Ginjo Omachi Unfiltered Unrefined Harajuku, but I forgot to take a picture of it...
We had the opportunity to sample some freshly arrived sake at Icoma Sake Shop!
We also tasted Gokeijo and Kibotsuru Yuyamanishiki, but this is the only one I took a picture of this time!
It was rich and sweet, but not cloyingly so, just the right amount of sweetness. I think I could drink it easily with low alcohol content.
It's a Junmai spec, but it's very cost-effective at 1100 yen, probably because it's made with out-of-spec rice!
The World Cup has begun. I like baseball, but I also like soccer.
I predict the Netherlands as the winner and Denmark as the runner-up. (I am not gambling, probably).
This sake is not reviewed much by Sake-no-wa.
I heard that it is called "Juraku Taiko.
The aroma is clean and rice-like. It has a dry taste with a slight crisp apple flavor. The aftertaste is clean and refreshing without the classic dullness. Although it is a minor flavor, it is delicious.
Good evening, Mr. Gula😃.
Netherlands to Denmark 😳⁉️That's quite a maniacal prediction 😁Denmark🇩🇰 is strong I think👍Dutch🇳🇱 don't know😅I'll predict the winner... after commercials. ...
I honestly don't know 🥲Brazil🇧🇷.
Gura 😍😍I'm drinking it right away 😆😆I remember I drank a 300ml of Juraku Taikoo before I started Sake no Wa and it was pretty sweet 😆This looks delicious 😍.
Good evening, Mr. Gura 😃.
I have never seen Saga Sake before, because of my location, I can't get much Saga Sake except Nabeshima, so this is very informative 😌I would like to see the first Dutch win ⚽.
Thank you for your hard work, Mr. King of Noodles and Sake. I am the director of the Ko-Imari-mae Department, and I hope you will drink Ko-Imari-mae with me.
The Netherlands is a strong country, but they have never won a championship, have they?
Souvenir Sake from Karatsu (1)
Since I came all the way to Karatsu, I decided to drink sake from a sake brewery in Karatsu, so I bought a bottle of Juraku Taikoh hiyaoroshi at a liquor store near Karatsu Station.
I had it cold.
It had a slightly fragrant ginjo aroma.
It starts out soft and gentle on the palate, gradually spreading the umami of rice and a slight acidity.
The lingering finish is long and rather thick.
The price is quite reasonable at about 1,000 yen.
Jyuraku Taikoh Junmai Ginjo unfiltered raw, 3,380 yen
Hmm. I guess it's good, but it's not my favorite. Junmai Ginjo, unfiltered and raw... I guess my expectations were too high from the price... Sake is difficult.
I wonder if my opinion will change after a little more time.
Cup sake of Taikou which I want to drink sometimes. The design of Karatsu Kunchi also makes me excited ^ ^ ^.
This time we had mussel with wasabi, salmon yukke and white fish. It's chilled Taikoh.
