It is calm, and this is a very good sake.

On a weekday holiday, I went to Omiya. Lunch.
As an aperitif, it was the first time in a long time.
I've been a Hanayo-yoku sympathizer since Hanayo-yoku started to become popular about 10 years ago.
I like the yellow label Miyamanishiki Junmai Ginjo, and at that time it was usually available.
Now, this Ginpu.
It's not as pineappley or juicy as the other types, but it's still Hanayo-yoku and it's well put together.

I went to Omiya to buy sake and visit the Hikawa Shrine on my Wednesday off.
We had lunch at Azumaji, which was on the list of pubs in Shu Furukawa's "The World's Most Delicious Sake" and had been on my mind for a while.
I thought it was an austere kappo restaurant, but it was a modern restaurant with JAZZ playing in the background. They have a good selection of sake, and the food is mainly Japanese, but of high quality. Sake is served from noon.
