Here's another Tochigi sake: ‼️
At the Mashiko pottery fair we went to in GW, we stopped by Okada Sake Shop on the way to Mashiko Station😊As I wrote in a previous post, it is a sake shop with a wonderful wife who encourages us to try more and more sake 👍She even offered us two bottles to open our mouths and my son was tipsy 😚.
The wife is a dry wine maker! Miyamanishiki 🤗.
It was an unusual route to buy Nozomu-san and carry him on my back before going to Sotaike 😅.

The aroma doesn't taste sweet 😌.
I love the aroma, but it doesn't taste sweet 😌! It's a beautiful sip 😋 but it's not dry 😚 it's a food sake with sweetness and umami combined with a slight acidity that makes it go down smoothly 😊.
It's also good heated, but I drank it all cold 🍶.
I was looking at the fridge when I arrived at a liquor store far from here ‼️ and found a regular Gin Kame 😳 I was excited for a moment but when I saw the price I decided to pass on it 😆 But I got Yamae Nishiki 🐢 instead 👍and found the other one I was looking for too! I got a good deal as you can see in the picture 😉.
