Mikana
Special Junmai indigo label. At a local sake event MEES HIGASHI-MIMO. I drank about 60ml. The 10th sake I drank. I thought it would be nice to end the event with a heated sake, so I decided to finish with my favorite sake of the day, made by the Yamauchi Sake Brewery. It was my favorite sake, very easy to drink and had a lot of flavor. I'm glad I ended up with this sake! Yamauchi Sake Brewery has a complete lineup of three different types. Thanks for the treat!

Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake. At a local sake event MEES HIGASHI-MIMO. I drank about 60ml. The 9th sake I drank. I chose it with snacks. The pamphlet said that they produce dry sake. I drank it with smoked oysters and it was delicious.

Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake. At a local sake event MEES HIGASHI-MIMO. I drank about 60ml. This is the 7th sake I drank. I chose it because I had some snacks left and I wanted to drink dry sake soon. Also, the person drinking next to me was raving about it, so I was very curious (laugh). It goes well with snacks and is easy to drink. It's a natural, but it's delicious. I wonder if I can go back to drinking junmai sake for everyday drinking...

Freshly pressed sake. At a local sake event MEES HIGASHI-MIMO. I drank about 60ml. The 6th sake I drank. It is said to have 19 degrees of alcohol. Sweet but refreshing. The pamphlet says it is easy to drink without overdoing it, and that is exactly what I thought.

Mikana
At the local sake event MEES HIGASHI-MIMO. I drank about 60ml. This is the fifth sake I drank. I started to get drunk around this time and my memory is questionable. The note says it was fruity and sweet. The pamphlet says it has a sweet aroma like green apple and white peach. Next time I drink it, I would like to enjoy such aroma instead of just drinking it. Usually, I think I drink spicy sake, perhaps because it is a food wine, but on this day, I stuck to fruity. Thanks to that, I was able to drink it without any snacks. Since I also purchased snacks, my activities were clearly divided into drinking and eating.

At a local sake event MEETS HIGASHI-MINO. I drank about 60ml. The fourth sake I drank. I still wanted a fruity sake, so I chose this one based on the pamphlet. I wondered if it was because it was a ginjo that I could drink it so easily. As a sake novice, I drank it thinking, "Is it because it is a ginjo that I can drink it so easily? Maybe I am just a sake drinker... (laugh).

Mikana
At a local sake event MEETS HIGASHI-MINO. I drank about 180ml. Sake received as a free-flowing sake. As I will write later, I liked Yamauchi Sake Brewery so much that I drank all of it, and each time I drank it, I also received a cup of sake (as a matter of course, but after I sobered up, I wondered if it was a good idea. I was a bit nervous about it 💦) and ended up with 3 cups of sake in my cup. I ended up with three cups of sake in my inokashira. I bought it and went home. I can only write that it was delicious even though I drank the most, so I will write more about it once I open and drink my purchase.

At a local sake event MEETS HIGASHI-MINO. I drank about 60ml. This was the second sake I drank. This time I wanted something fruity, so I decided on this one based on the pamphlet. Literally, fruity. It was so fragrant with a clean aftertaste that I wondered why I didn't buy this one as a souvenir while writing this in Shirafu. I have a feeling I'm going to be addicted to junmai ginjo.

Mikana
At a local sake event MEETS HIGASHI-MINO. I drank about 60ml. The first sake I drank. Perhaps it was because I usually drink junmai sake, but it was very easy to drink and just delicious! I thought. The pamphlet says it has a gentle sweetness. So I drank it thinking it was sweet, and it wasn't (I overestimated the gentle sweetness 💦), but it was a sake that I thought I might get addicted to junmai ginjo. I'm sad to say that I didn't get the point of attending for the first time and didn't get to take a picture of the label. A photo-less post will follow after this.

A long time ago I received this. A yellowish sake I had never seen before. The bottle had instructions on how to heat it up in the microwave, but I decided to drink it at room temperature. I drank it with wild caught hamachi sashimi. I didn't think it would go well with fish, but it was delicious as a food sake. Thanks to my friend who brought it over.
