I had an image of kijoshu as having a deep taste, but this sake is the exact opposite, with a clean aftertaste. It smells like Japanese pear and has a strong acidity. I was surprised to learn that there is such a thing as kijo-zake! I had many new discoveries with this sake.

Kurobakuren" from Kamenoi Shuzo has arrived. The store we go to gives us a bottle of sake as a gift when we accumulate points. It is still chilling in the refrigerator. The dryness is still there. The aroma of the brewed alcohol is also very pleasant, and no snacks are needed. This is a great bottle for those who like aroma. However, it would be better to avoid it on a date.

Hoshiakari" seems to be a sake rice developed by Tohoku Electric Power Company for the reconstruction of the region, but it is so hard that few sake breweries use it anymore. Sake is a very thoughtful drink with a historical background. The aroma of the sake was a little unique, but I thought it would be a good match for meat dishes. The person next to me had it heated, so next time I would like to try it heated.
