I was able to celebrate my birthday for the first time in six months, which had been postponed due to the spread of corona infection and scheduling conflicts, and my usual friends and I went to "Bantei" in Kaga, Ishikawa, to eat "Sakanami Duck," a fantastic duck meat that I had always wanted to try.
We had a full course meal of wild duck caught alive by the traditional hunting method called "Sakanami", grilled on skewers, simmered in grated radish, roasted with miso leaves, and served with duck sukiyaki (duck meat with miso paste), etc. 😋🍴💕
We decided to drink with the restaurant's best sake, "Gorin Junmai Sake" (五凜 純米酒) to go with the delicious food. ❗️
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a slight sweetness, followed by a sharp sharp taste and a rich aroma that will leave a lasting impression on your nose.
It is fresh and has no smell at all. It is the best match for each duck dish, which is full of fat and has a great flavor.
It was a very satisfying night to be able to eat at the restaurant 🙆.
I also got a frozen duck roast as a souvenir, so I will use it as a side dish when I go out drinking at home. ✨😉👍️
I am also posting a record of the hot sake and a glass of cold sake that I forgot to take note of because I was so drunk.
