So yesterday, my wife and I went to my parents' home and had a rude banquet with them.
I was a little relieved to see them both looking so happy, even though it had been a hard time for both of them.
We started the party around 5:00 p.m. and it was almost midnight!
We drank beer, shochu, whiskey, and no sake, but it was a very enjoyable party!
But today, my wife and I had a takoyaki (octopus dumplings) party with our favorite soy sauce based takoyaki!
And we were served Nabeshima by Tomikuchiyo Sake Brewery!
This was the first time for me to drink special junmai sake at home. It is the most powerful sake among the Nabeshima's.

First, the aroma. It has a fresh and fruity aroma!
In the mouth, less of the usual chili flavor.
Still, it is delicious with a slight sweetness and richness.
I also feel a slight fruity sensation!
The mouthfeel is mild and smooth, easy to drink, and the lingering aftertaste is refreshingly balanced with a slight or slight peel-like bitterness.
As usual, the Nabesama Special Junmai keeps you drinking more and more, and unusually, the bottle is empty before you know it...
