The cold version has a mellow flavor rather than the unique crispness of hiya-oroshi (cold-roasted sake), which spreads in the mouth.
It's also great lukewarm, and the mildness is even better when it's lukewarm.
You can enjoy it both cold and lukewarm, and it's a win-win situation.
This is a local brew from Fukushima that I got as a gift from a friend.......it's hard to find in the Kanto region unless you go to Tochigi.... This is a good choice for a midday meal.
