We served our New Year's Day Daiginjo with gold leaf from Banshu Meijo, which is our roots. It is perfect as a New Year's food sake. It is easy to drink and has no habits, but the subtle hints of umami are very good 😉.
The cup is a pine bark tenmoku cup that was given to us by Lord Nobunaga, which we will see only on New Year's Day 🤗‼︎ ふるたさけおMeijo Shuzo Co. Honjozo sake. This sake was given to me as a non-circulation item.
Normally, I would be nervous about a sake with a name like this and a name like Honjozo, but when I opened the bottle at room temperature, I was convinced that this was a good sake,
When I opened the bottle at room temperature, the aroma of heated rice convinced me that this was a good sake.
The taste was as expected.
The 17° alcohol content is so soft and easy to drink that it does not bother me.
However, when heated, it is super-hot.
