Fujii Masakazu Sake Brewery closed on March 31, 2022.
This is the last bottle of the same sake that was purchased at the sales counter before it closed.
It is one of the last bottles of sake that was purchased at the store before it closed as well.
The sake is not sold the year it is made, but rather stored in the storehouse for several years (originally at least 2-3 years) before being made into a product.
It had been stored in the refrigerator, but I took the plunge and opened the bottle because the aged aroma seemed to go well with eel.
It is pale yellow in color and has an aged aroma. In the mouth, the sweetness and bitterness like brown sugar, caramel, and caramel appeared and left a lingering aftertaste, which matched perfectly.
This eel is sold freshly grilled over charcoal in the neighborhood.
I went to buy it a little early this year because it was a holiday, but I was surprised to see 20 people in line under the scorching sun. I thought I was going to get heat stroke.

Good evening, Lutemi 😃.
You used to drink sake from this brewery, but I see that you haven't opened some yet 😳Pairing with a precious sake that you will never be able to drink again 😍The ripeness certainly seems to go well with eel 😋.

Good morning, bouken: ☀️
I couldn't open the bottle as I thought this would be the last one 🥹 but I think it has matured and become more rounded in taste. I tasted it well😌.

Hi Pon, good evening 😁.
I couldn't open the bottle very often and it happened to be a delicious sake that aged well. I regret not getting more 😂.
