Very fragrant ginjo aromas open up this sake: lots of ripe pear, Asian pear, melon, some subtle apple, greenish banana, all wonderfully layered over some hints of rice porridge.
Velvety smooth, mouthcoating palate. Medium dry, with a crisp astringency. Medium acidity and alcohol keep this refreshing. More apple and banana, fresh cheese like mozzarella, and an umami-laced finish like chestnuts or mushrooms.
