Wow! A really full flavored Sake with some punch. Genshu with 19% alcohol (oh no! I have an important work meeting tomorrow! 🫠) no Seimaibuai listed.
Very rice-y flavor, to me. My wife says 山菜の苦味.
Maybe we are not accustomed to Gohyakumangoku 五百万石 rice.
I’m impressed with how well this Sake is pairing with heavy flavored food like garlic chicken, croquettes and pork sauté. (I almost feel sorry for our 七つ星 ご飯🍚)
