It's alcohol, but it's an irregular post. I found a vintage one. It's a plum wine made by my late grandmother in 1992. What can I say? It was a gem beyond exquisite. I can't put it into words in many ways.

Thank you, Soshu-sama! I drank it with trepidation, but it numbed me!

That's nice. Grandma's plum wine. I'm sure I'm sure she'll be very happy.

Dear sugi, thank you! It was pickled a year before I was born! I hadn't been able to go home to my parents in a while, but it was an unexpected gift (tears).

I chose Hida city in Gifu prefecture as a hometown tax and got a set of sake from Watanabe brewery. What a luxurious set of 5 bottles. I'm very excited. As you can see, I haven't drunk any of it yet, but it's going to give me a chance to slow down, learn about the brewery and the area, and savor it!

We made slaughterhouse sake with pine, bamboo and plum. Slaughter is said to have originated in China in ancient times, when people used to prepare sacred medicines, soak them in sake and drink them to ward off disasters and pray for happiness. Sutra means to slaughter evil spirits, and Su means to revive the soul. The medicinal herbs, pine, bamboo and plum, are enveloped in a noble fragrance that spreads gorgeously across your face when you hold it in your mouth. I am grateful for the gift from my friend who purchases incense regularly. It's been a great New Year's!

This is the sake I chose to pray for in the New Year. It is my favorite locally in Tochigi and is easy to pair with New Year's dishes. It has a fruity aroma, but it is also crisp and clear. It is a sake that is more refreshing than sweet, and yet still very approachable. We have selected a cold sake among the Sohare. There are other types as well.
