The aroma is somewhat fresh. Sourness and an aroma like spoiled rum for a moment. The taste is full-bodied from the first sip. The rice flavor comes through. The spiciness is a little spicy. Slowly fades while gently tasting the sweetness and sourness. It is delicious. Not a bad combination with the oiliness of the pork rillette. 4/5 stars for my taste. Not too much

Shiga Prefecture Brewery Tour (4) Tanaka Shuzo We parted ways with Robin at Laughing Shiki and went to Tanaka Sake Brewery near Koga Station. A small family-run sake brewery. Near the entrance, the brewer said, "We can't sell because of all the tastings" 😅. There was one free tasting and the rest were paid tastings. Harunomine Shiboritate. Free tasting, mildly sweet and tasty. Amazake Amazake was served from a rice cooker. Mild amazake with a crushed rice taste. Junmai Sake A little classic with a sourness that is typical of junmai sake, starting with the acidity. Nama sake Slightly umami, with a spicy aftertaste. Junmai Nigori Sake It has a rough texture and a rough taste. It has a dry and dry taste with a rice flavor and little sweetness. Junmai Ginjo Tamakae 55 Light nigori A little classical, with mild acidity and umami. Junmai Ginjo Tamakae 55 Nama Sake The taste is refreshing, with a hint of richness, and a sake-like aftertaste. Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake A pure and large sake with a strong umami flavor. The aroma is soft and floral. The building and the tools were all very old, but there was an atmosphere, and there were some ingenious touches such as all-you-can-stuff sake lees and an Instagram spot. Everyone shared the tasting 😁.

Hi, Nemuchi 😀 My wife was challenging to stuff all-you-can-eat sakekasu here 😀. My wife tried her hand at all-you-can-stuffing sake lees here 😀. After we got home, her mother made a sake lees soup and it was very tasty 😇. We still have more sakekasu to enjoy 😀

Tokaido Sake Brewery Tour in Spring (5) We parted at Laughing Shiki with the person we met at Mitomiku (Robin) and went to Tanaka Sake Brewery, which is the closest to Mie Prefecture among the six breweries. Compared to the other breweries, the Tanaka Brewery is quite small and looks like a home and brewery. The building and facilities looked quite old. We drank Harunomine Shiboritate It was served like a welcome drink. It was served as a kind of welcome drink. Relatively sweet sake in this brewery. Amazake It was served with freshly squeezed sake. It was a little warm and had a ricey feel to it. Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake 1801 yeast, 47% polished rice. Slightly floral but complex. Not like Junmai Daiginjo. Buy it for 5,500 yen😳. Junmai-Daiginjo-Tamaei Usunigori Slightly fruity and refreshing. Junmai Ginjo-Tamaei Nama Sake Slightly sweet and caramelized flavor? Junmai sake Slightly spicy and classical? Nama sake Flat and refreshing. Junmai nigori At the beginning, I thought it might be good with a little bit of sweetness and a little bit of a whiffle. But in the second half, it was quite spicy... Junmai Ginjo and Jun Dai seem to be using the same gray labels 😅

Thank you bouken! I like your brewery tours! And what's more, what's more, it's a great opportunity to visit Gogohyakuen in Naminami! But you are a legend ✨! You are a legend ✨ and the way you write down each sake is a real gem ✌✨.

Hello, bouken. The atmosphere of Harunomine is so nice that it makes a good picture no matter where you take a picture. I was relaxing eating a parfait without drinking alcohol when I realized that I would not make it to Kitajima in time! I realized 💦 and left in a hurry.

Hello sake orchid 😃 I think it's a good deal as many of the drinks were expensive to buy 😊. Only this brewery miraculously kept notes of everything we drank 🤣. Let's go together next year 😊.

Hi Hirupeko! It was like visiting a relative's house in the countryside, unlike the factory-like atmosphere 😆This is where I took the most pictures of the warehouse 📷We left without stopping by the store across the street💦.

At Takatsu Sake Shop in Kusatsu. This sake is also available in Osaka, but I bought it while buying other sake. They have a wide selection of sake from the Meimon Sake Association and Shiga Prefecture, including Raifuku, Yuho, Nohkuchi Naohiko Research Institute, and Enayama. Made with Yamadanishiki produced in Koka. Slight and gentle on the palate. Gentle fruity taste. Almost no alkaloids. It tastes even better than expected. It's a daiginjo, but you can buy it for about 1,500 yen, so it's cosy too.
