The surume (dried cuttlefish) and tamadara (tama-dari) sold on the train were delicious, of course.
The surume is roasted on the stove.
Even though it is a josen sake, it is a delicious and refreshing sake without any unpleasant taste.
It is a smooth and easy to drink sake with a slight umami flavor that complements the taste of the surume.
It is exceptional to savor it in a carriage in the 1950s plus the snowy scenery.
