We moved to Demachiyanagi for lunch and finally went to Matsui Sake Brewery. Many foreign visitors came to the brewery, which was very popular. After a lecture on how to drink, it was time for a tasting. Kamizo Sparring The sweetness and the sizzling taste are delicious! There is a bit of bitterness, but the sweetness is quite strong. My wife's favorite! Junmai Clear You can feel the sweetness and bitterness at the same time. It is also sweet, but the bitterness lingers and the mouthfeel is smooth. Shiboritate Genshiyu Soft sweetness and a hint of bitterness with a traditional sake feel. Fairly heavy Junmai Ruri The mouthfeel is smooth, with a good balance of bitterness and gentle sweetness. It has a good balance of bitterness and gentle sweetness. Junmai Daiginjo Saikaze Narai Delicious the moment you put it in your mouth. The soft sweetness and bitterness spreads slowly and smoothly in the mouth. Junmai Daiginjo Kuro The beautiful sweetness is first delicious in the mouth. After that, the beautiful bitterness spreads and the balance is good. It may be my favorite among all the Kamizou wines. Junmai Daiginjo White The balance is similar to that of black. It has a sweeter taste than the black. Junmai Daiginjo Assemblage The sweetness comes with a bang and goes down nicely. As you continue drinking, you can feel the sweetness in the mouth.

Good evening, ma-ki-. I like the Kyoto sake brewery walk: ✨️ I've always wanted to visit Matsui Sake Brewery 🍶I'm curious about the clear 🤤After that, I'll have to settle for Demachi Futaba's Mame Daifuku 😋.

Thanks for your comment Nao888. If you have a chance to visit Matsui Sake Brewery, please do! It's quite internationalized and I realized that sake is accepted by foreigners ✨. And the salted Daifuku to top it off: 👍️

Good morning, ma-ki-San 😃. I see you are in Kyoto! Matsui Sake Brewery is close to my office and I commute there everyday, but I have never been there 😰. I've never been to the Matsui Brewery, though I commute there everyday from my office! I'm also curious about the salted Daifuku to finish off 😍.

Thanks for your comment, Ao. Matsui Sake Brewery is close to your workplace 😲. I think we had over a dozen tastings 🎵. Please come again on your day off! I remember standing in line to buy salted daifuku a few years ago at a famous place 😊.

Today, Kaorin and I went to a martial arts exo-size and worked up a good sweat, so we wanted to drink a shuwa-shuwa sake, so we opened a bottle of the active nigori sake Kamizo, which was strongly recommended by the Matsui Sake Brewery in Kyoto, which we visited the other day 😀. The first thing that surprised me was that the tag said to poke the center of the cap with a safety pin to release the air before opening the bottle. When I poked it with the pin as instructed, I heard the sound of air escaping and was able to open the bottle without any blowout 😀. It was a delicious sake, with a fruity and fruity taste at first, followed by an elegant rice taste 😀. As expected, the nigori recommended by the brewery was very tasty 😇

Hi Yasbay 😃. Martial arts exercise 🥊 sounds like a good way to relieve stress and sweat 💦 🤗I'm a bit scared to drink after that in favor of the schwarz type 😅I'm glad it opened well and tasted good 😅.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😀 I make an effort to keep up a regular exercise routine that makes me sweat a lot to enjoy drinking sake🤣. The stopper that is opened after poking the cap with a safety pin was a first for us 🤣.

Good evening, Wakata-san 😀. Actually, I met Kaorin through this martial arts exercise and we became friends because of wine 😀. Now we both have moved from wine to sake, but drinking and exercising are our common interests 😀.

At Matsui Sake Brewery, which we visited yesterday, the brewer highly recommended this sake 😀. Actually, this sake for purchase was bottled just 2 days ago and the brewer told us to open the bottle as soon as possible because it is in great condition and definitely tastes better than the same sake that is currently being tasted at the brewery for a fee 😀. First of all, the aroma is not so much junmai as junmai daiginjo... it could be called junmai daiginjo😇. Just one sip and you can taste the beautiful flavor 😀. The elegant sweetness and umami that is not cloying spread on the palate, and the sake was so delicious that it is proud to be called "quintessential sake.

Good evening, Yasbay 😃. I wonder if it's freshly bottled, it hasn't deteriorated and the aroma and taste will be fresh as if it's directly pumped 🤔. The brewery's freshly packed Kamizo looks delicious 🤤.

Hi Pon 😀 I think I'll have to buy it and take it home if you recommend it with that much pressure on the stones 🤣. But I'm glad I took it home as recommended 😀. I often go walking in Kyoto, so I'm sure I'll go back 😀.

Good evening, Aladdin 😀 It was a delicious sake with the fresh taste and aroma of freshly pressed sake 😀. I think this sake tastes better freshly made than aged ❓❓😀😀.

Hi Wakata 😀 I thought it was a bit different from yakiniku, so I had the yakiniku with a liqueur with soda 😀. The drink helped to clean off the fat in my mouth after eating the meat😇.

Kaorin has been on summer vacation for more than a week, but I've been working as per the calendar 😅. So today is the last day of our summer vacation, and the fifth and final leg of our usual walking tour of temples, shrines, and sake breweries 😇. We took the Hankyu and Keihan trains to Demachiyanagi in Kyoto 😀. After visiting a few temples and shrines in the northeastern part of Kyoto, we went to Matsui Sake Brewery located between Sanjo and Demachiyanagi 😀. This was a very nice store with a relaxed atmosphere where you can do paid tastings and merchandising if you have a reservation 😇. We bought a prepaid card for 3000 yen for two people and had our favorite sake at a table 😇. Kamizo's main sake seems to be a celebration of Kyoto sake rice, but my favorite sake we had today was a summer-only jun-dai made with omachi 😀. It had a summery acidity and sweetness...I could taste muscat and figs, but it was not clingy and it finished nicely😇. It was a bit expensive to buy for home, so I got two bottles of junmai and nigori sake recommended by the brewery 😇.

Hi Aladdin 😀 This was my first time to try Matsui Sake Brewery's sake and it really is a beautiful bottle 😀. The regular self-serve sake was served in wine glasses, but the nigori sake was served separately and the glasses were special and beautiful 😊.

Dense sparkling with dark sweetness and plum acidity Leaves a sour aftertaste Easy-drinking sparkling plum wine The lingering aftertaste and aftertaste are similar to that of Jinzo Bubbles Sparkling. Are you using the sake from Bubbles Sparkling?
