We decided to have chicken on Christmas Eve, so we chose a sake to go with it 🎄.
Last year it was Sansho, so this year I was looking for a sake with a gaseous taste, and I bought KAWABU, which I have had before!
This is my first time drinking sake at home!
Cold sake
Fresh aroma
Crisp and fruity acidity.
Chilli gas feeling.
Junmai ogara-mi, so you can feel the umami and volume of the rice.
There is a moderate astringency in the aftertaste.
It is good as a stand-alone sake, but it might be better as a food sake.

Smooth mouthfeel with a firm umami flavor.
Low acidity and very floral.
Clear, but you may feel the strength of new sake.
You will not get tired of drinking it. いーじーPurchased at a liquor store. It is hard to find(?) in Fukuoka. It is a liquor store that sells Saku. It is a small liquor store located near the famous Toroki Sake Brewery main store in Fukuoka, and there were also AKABU, Kasa Ichiyo, and Akafukusuke.
It has been a long time since I have seen Saku.

A faint pear-like aroma.
Gentle sweetness and rice flavor, slightly sharp.
Not too heavy.
