A delicious sake with an initial acidity, followed by umami that spreads in the mouth.
It also has the drinkability of Asahi Kohshin.
It is reasonably priced and delicious.
Sake, Junmai Daiginjo, made from Aizan rice.
It is sold exclusively at Tsukii Shoten in Tochigi.
Easy to drink Asahi Koki, a delicious sake with a subtle umami and a slight richness.
Sake and Daiginjo made from Yumesasara rice produced in Tochigi Prefecture.
It has the drinkability of Asahi Kohshin, and is quite refreshing, with a subtle umami flavor that is understated.
Frankly, I would prefer a sake with a little more umami and a bit more of a catch in the throat.
This sake combines the drinkability, umami, sweetness, and subtle richness of Asahi Kohshin.
It is nice to be able to taste this deliciousness at a reasonable price...and the fact that it is not easily available outside of Tochigi Prefecture is also a good thing!
Personally, this is my favorite of the Asahi Koh series.
