AKA "Phantom Sake True to its name, "phantom" is the best way to describe this sake. The taste is clean and mellow. The aroma spreads from the oral cavity to the nostrils with a rich sweetness, and then disappears as soon as it goes down the throat.... I have had a similar sake called "Zenwadori". It completely surpasses it.... It is wrong to compare them, and each has its own strengths. Still, it completely surpassed it. It was a truly delicious sake.

Nigori...The soft aroma of rice spreading softly in the mouth, which is unique to muddy sake, left a soft taste in the mouth, and was delicious until the aftertaste. Jungin...The taste is crisp and clean. It goes down your throat without a cloying taste. I tend to drink too much of this sake. I have to be careful to control myself. I'm sure this sake tastes great warmed up, so I'll order some in the winter!

The aroma gives you a hint of sourness, and the moment you put it in your mouth, you are surprised by the lemon-like freshness that spreads out. After a couple of chews in the mouth, the taste changes to sweetness. When you lower it down your throat with surprise, all the aroma, taste, and emotion that spread in your mouth disappear. The change is so enjoyable that you can't help but reach for it. It was such a sake.

Sake recommended in Niigata Prefecture Tsururei itself is an easy-drinking brand, but this series is seasonal, so I just bought it. It is a sake that can be drunk all the time on its own without food, and it is best served cold.
