Wakayama expedition. First visit to Heiwa Sake Brewery, which is under the direct management of Heiwa Sake Brewery.
It tasted different from Kido, but was still very tasty.

The second glass was at Heiwa Brewery, the store across the street, which is directly owned by Kido.
It has a refreshing taste with a hint of sourness that makes you think it is not 15% alcohol.
This is what summer sake is all about.

I couldn't go anywhere for fun during GW because I was working all the time, so I went to Wakayama with my wife today 😀.
We hiked about 15 km in the mountains while visiting temples.
And on the way back, we went to Wakayama City Station to visit Heiwa Sake Shop 😀.
This is an antenna store of Heiwa Shuzo located in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, which is famous for Kido sake.
We started off with a toast with Honkido Junmai Daiginjo, Haru no Kaorufu and Muryozan Junmai Sake 🍶.
The wife said that her favorite was Haru no Kaorufu, which she drinks most often, but I found the fruity yet robust Muryozan Junmai the most delicious 😀.
This was the first time for me to try the Honkido Junmai Daiginjo, which is 13 degrees Celsius, and it too is a refreshing and easy to drink sake😇.
Next, I had the fruit liqueur soda mix of Natsumikan and Yuzu, both of which were GOOD🤣 as they are from the fruit kingdom of Wakayama.
In the end, I bought Muryozan Junmai Ginjo, Akakido and Yuzu liqueur and headed back home😇.

Hiking means you don't need a handle keeper so you two can drink together and get drunk 😄.

Good evening, Yasubeyesan. Kido is a favorite of Yasubeyesan and Orin! I also visited last year when I was on a happy train ride, and it's a beautiful store with a wide variety of sake to sample. It's a fun time to visit the corner 😊.
