This is the sake matching ceremony at the wedding reception. The bride is from Aichi Prefecture and uses Omachi from brewer Kuheiji. We compared the taste with Mori-Ba-Ri, but both tasted the same. We also drank the combined sake, but it tasted just fine.
The names of the seats are indicated by the sake, with the groom's side being sake from Kyoto and the bride's side being sake from Aichi.
I hope the two will mix well and be happy like these sakes.
Today was my daughter's wedding. At the reception, we had a sake-matching ceremony. This ceremony is meant to unite the bride and groom from different backgrounds by combining the sake of their birthplace. Since the groom is from Kyoto, Sawaya Matsumoto was used.
TAKA2. Nice to meet you & congratulations on your daughter's wedding. Sorry for the delay. I just now reviewed your post and the sake matching ceremony is a wonderful tradition.
