I wondered what to buy in Nara, but this time I chose this one, which seems to be a basic dry sake. As the name suggests, it is not so much dry as it is crisp and sharp... but clean and tasty, with a good flavor and sweetness. It is delicious.

Continuing from last month, I went to Ojinsha Shrine. I delayed my return train again and had a little drink at a cafe in front of the station. It was a very beautiful, yet delicious combination of complex flavors in a dewy leaf style.

A local store exclusive (maybe). Very beautiful and delicious Mimuro cedar. There is something subtle behind it...like a hint of something. It's still delicious. This one will be gone soon too.

I bought a bottle for myself as a souvenir for local distribution when I visited Ojinja Shrine. It has a classical taste with the beauty of Mimuro cedar, as it has been drunk for a long time. I like the easy one-batch bottles.

I went to Ojinsha Shrine, which I had wanted to visit once. Then I went to Imanishi Sake Brewery's cafe in front of the station and had a glass of what seems to be a local-only brew. The unfiltered draft of Mimuro cedar is nothing but the best.

Hatsumode to the three major sake gods of Japan is complete 😀. Following the visit to Umemiya-taisha Shrine from Matsuo-taisha Shrine in Kyoto on New Year's Day 2, today we came to visit Nara Ojinja Shrine from the Bodhi Hashimoto Sake Festival at Shoreki-ji Temple 🙏. My hope is that everyone at Sake-no-wa will have good luck with sake this year😇. And the blessings came early 😇 On the way back to Miwa station, we got a limited edition sake for the year of the snake from Imanishi Sake Brewery in front of the Miwa station 😀. This was 🙆It was so delicious! The moderately effervescent and bouncy fruity taste was fresh and delicious 😀. I drank the paid tasting of one cup with Kaorin, but it was soon empty 🤣. I'm going to buy some and have her join the ongoing Nigorinpik in a hurry 😀.

Although it is sake, it has a refreshing aftertaste as if one were drinking water. The clean taste is an advantage, but it is also a disadvantage, as you do not really feel like you are drinking sake. It tastes slightly sweet. If you want to drink it, you should drink sake alone in an elegant manner, as it seems to lose out when combined with strong flavors.
