First time, Kangiku. And it is a limited edition sake. It has juicy fruitiness, but also has a sharpness that is not too sweet. It has a very nice balance. There is no alcohol feeling after drinking, and it is like a fruit juice for adults. We compared it with Kangiku no Hoshikai, but this one is less assertive and has a milder fruity taste. I can see why it is so popular 😆. Taken from the online store description. ↓↓↓↓↓ This bottle is derived from the Limited Edition series, which is made entirely from rice grown in Chiba Prefecture. We named it "Blue Sapphire (Seigyoku)" after our mainstay Chiba-grown Gohyakumangoku rice, which is our corporate color blue, and the fact that our master brewer carefully managed it as if it were a jewel, while being conscious of the balance between it and Yamadanishiki. The result is a low-alcohol sake with luxury, juicy fruitiness, and crispness that foreshadows the next stage of Kangiku's development. Alcohol: 14 degrees Sake Degree: -7 Acidity: 1.5 Amino acidity: 0.5 Rice used: Yamadanishiki & Gohyakumangoku Rice polishing ratio: 50

50% Yamadanishiki x 50% Gohyakumangoku, 14% alcohol by volume. Slightly foamy, sweet, fruity. Taste like white wine. To go with bouillabaisse. Very good with Western food. It would also go well with Japanese food with a strong flavor. The class seems to have a deeper flavor if you drink it in a wine glass. It has a taste that can be challenged even by those who don't like sake that tastes like sake.
