First time, Kangiku. And it is a limited edition sake.
It has juicy fruitiness, but also has a sharpness that is not too sweet. It has a very nice balance.
There is no alcohol feeling after drinking, and it is like a fruit juice for adults. We compared it with Kangiku no Hoshikai, but this one is less assertive and has a milder fruity taste. I can see why it is so popular 😆.

This bottle is derived from the Limited Edition series, which is made entirely from rice grown in Chiba Prefecture. We named it "Blue Sapphire (Seigyoku)" after our mainstay Chiba-grown Gohyakumangoku rice, which is our corporate color blue, and the fact that our master brewer carefully managed it as if it were a jewel, while being conscious of the balance between it and Yamadanishiki. The result is a low-alcohol sake with luxury, juicy fruitiness, and crispness that foreshadows the next stage of Kangiku's development.
