Suwa Gokura Kamisuwa Highway Machiaruki Drinking Walk", we went again this year.
Here is the fourth glass of Honkin. Even if the sake rice is changed, you can tell that the sake is still called "Honkin". It is delicious!

The last of the main money is here, and the shuawase available at KEG is delicious!

The sake is very sharp even though it has been matured over the summer! It is delicious!

This is Suwa rice with a full flavor! It is delicious and goes well with eel skewers!
Hello, Tetsu!
I'm so glad you went to the "Suwa Gozo Kami-Suwa Highway Machiaruki Drinking Walk" 🎵.
I see it's a pedestrian paradise: ⤴️
It looks very hot, fun and delicious 🤤.
Hello ma-ki-chan 😃
This was the second year in a row that I participated in this event, and since it has been a long-standing event, the organizers and participants were very familiar with the event and the parade with the woodcarving songs, etc. It was fun!
Good evening, Tetsu Boy 😃.
The Suwa Gokura event looks like a lot of fun ✨.
They're serving eel skewers and pouring sake in pitchers, sounds interesting 😆.
Good evening, Hiro-san... It's just about the time when the heat is going down, so it's easy and fun to spend time here. Please come next year if you like!
Suwa Gokura Kami-Suwa Kaido Machiaruki Drinking Walk", I went again this year.
This one with No. 7 yeast is very elegant. The aroma and taste are deep rather than strong. It is a good start.

The "Taichi", which is said to be the most popular sake, was indeed delicious. The Junmai Daiginjo was even better, with a rich flavor.
Suwa 5 Breweries Tour (3)
The Suwa 5 Breweries Tour set is available at the tourist information center in Kamisuwa Station for 3,000 yen. 22 tastings in total are available at the 5 breweries. Includes a drawstring, glass, and sticker mount.
The third brewery, Honkin-san.
There are four tastings. The reception desk is to the left of the entrance in an old private house style. It is small and has a nostalgic feel.
My impression of the sake was Honkin Junmai-shu.
The color is clear. The aroma has a moderate alkaline taste.
On the palate, "What the heck is this?" and the words 💦 come out.
Strong acidity and bitterness gradually give way to a green apple-like sweetness.
It is unique but not unpleasant. If anything, it's a classic flavor.
I was surprised that there is such a way to describe this drink 😳.
Good morning, Hiro 😃.
Nice tour of the breweries in Suwa 🤗Honkin-san! I got it last year on a Shinshu sake trip and was shocked by the sourness that sets it apart from other Shinshu sake 😳.
Oh! Congratulations on your 100 check in ㊗️ 🎉!
Good morning, Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
㊗️, thank you 😊.
'A sourness that sets it apart', that's exactly what it was: ❗️
I suspected it had changed over time ❓ but your comment cleared that up 😆.
