Draft sake from Higashi no Foothill Sake Brewery in Nanyo City, Yamagata Prefecture. It is a private brand of Yuki Sake Brewery in the same city, and is sold in limited quantities. The alcohol content of 20 degrees is strong, but the taste is surprisingly mild. It is perfect as an in-between-dinner drink. It is just right with ice. It is also sold online, so those who live far away from the brewery are welcome to try it!

Purchased at roadside station Aizu Yukawa Sakashita. It is a local brand among local brands, with 98% of its distribution in Kitakata City, but it seems to be reasonably available in the Aizu Basin. The taste is refreshing, with an aftertaste that seems to go well with all kinds of food. Please try this sake made only with rice, water, and people in Kitakata!

Purchased at a sake store in Fukushima City. It was the first time for me to drink this brand, which is not easily seen even in Fukushima Prefecture. It seems that there is not much of it in circulation. The taste is thick and dry, but the aftertaste is clean. It has a clean aftertaste, with no unpleasant taste or strange aroma, and it goes down smoothly. It gives the impression of an authentic junmai ginjo-shu. It can be matched with a wide range of dishes. We widely recommend this bottle.

Purchased at a supermarket in Fukushima City. It was about 500 yen for 300 mm. I was surprised at the mellow aroma when I took a sip. It may be similar to white wine. It is not dry, but it is very drinkable, so it would be good to drink it with a small glass of sake. Yaemon is often seen here and there in the prefecture, and we like this dry Junmai very much. The price is reasonable and good value for money!

Purchased at a sake store in Fukushima City. It comes in gently and quickly, but later on it is very dry. It is delicious. It was a perfect match with nabe dishes! It seems to be only available in winter, but I would like to buy several bottles every year.
