Jikin Junmai Ginjo Omachi Nama ✨
The last of the Jikin "Nama" series is Omachi!
It's a Jikin, so it's bound to be delicious, but with Omachi, you can expect something a step higher 🙄.
When I tried it...
It is fresh and slightly gassy and very refreshing.
It has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity. There is also a slight bitterness.
It has a slight bitterness...hmmm...
I thought it was a berry type 🙄 Not as good as Chihon-nishiki, but I dared to say it was a berry type.
Naturally, it is still delicious 🙂.
I think it's one of the top 2 in the Jikin "raw" series 🤔.
The 4th year of Sakegawa started with 5 consecutive pitches of Jikin!
Maybe next time I'll introduce some sake from Nara....

Red label is good for a happy occasion, isn't it? Even though the rice used for the Jikin is different, it still has some Jikin-ness to it, and all of the Jikin's were well balanced and perfect ✨.

I think the "Omachi Nama" is now red labeled from this year! I was able to buy all of the "Nama" series except for the Tokujun 😌 so my fridge is always full 😅.
