Nakasendo Walking Day 4
The last day is 14km👣 from Shiojiri inn to Shimosuwa inn.
Purchased at a brewery near Shimosuwa station.
I didn't have much time so I made my choice quickly💦.
100% Yamae-Nishiki
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol 16%.
A little chili, wine? Peach? Unique aroma. Because it was not chilled? 🤔
When you drink it, it is slightly sweet and delicious ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡.
It is tasty and refreshing!
On the second day, it was chilled and has a fruity aroma. Sweet and juicy. Very tasty. ❣️
On the 3rd and 4th day, the fruity and sweetness is a bit more subdued, but the flavor and acidity is delicious!
Goes well with meals.
We passed by Wahkyo Brewery, but it was early in the morning and they were closed. It's rare that it is brewed in a house that used to be the main brewery 😳.
After crossing the Shiojiri Pass, we could see Lake Suwa. People in the old days must have been relieved to have come down!
We left Shimosuwa while eating the famous salt yokan (sweet bean jelly).
