Last week's day trip to Nagasaki.
Actually, we didn't go straight home, but stopped along the way 😁.
We got off at Hizenhama Station (Kashima City, Saga Prefecture) on the Nagasaki Main Line.
If Kyushu becomes an independent state, Kashima City in Saga Prefecture will be a strong candidate for the sake capital 😁.
We only had less than 2 hours to spend in the city, so we first wandered around the station area.
The sake brewery street near the station is literally dotted with sake breweries.
We also took a peek at Tomikuchiyo Sake Brewery, famous for its Nabeshima sake.
But it's not popular on a Sunday afternoon 😅...
Is it always like this?
After 30-40 minutes, we returned to the station and went to "Hama Bar", a sake bar attached to the station building.
I was told about this place by Rumion-san and Rika-san, and I was really looking forward to going there.
We challenged ourselves to a junmai ginjo drink comparison (800 yen) from 5 different sake breweries in Kashima👍!
We had Ariake seaweed and cream cheese 🧀 with our entrée 🤗.
The first glass
Kohime DEAR MY PRINCESS Junmai Ginjyo Genjyo
100% Yamadanishiki produced in Saga Prefecture
Fruity aroma of Japanese pear.
Smooth and smooth with sweetness and umami.
It also has a nice sharpness. ❗️
First time to drink Kouhime ❓It's been a long time ❓
Either way, it's delicious🤗

Good morning, Chichi Michiei 😃.
What a fun thing to do❗️.
I can't believe there's a sake bar attached to the station building.
It's the sake capital of Kyushu 🥰.

Hi 3KAN4ON😃.
It's really a nice place 👍.
However, after the Shinkansen starts operation, the number of conventional train services will be drastically reduced and it will be inconvenient 💦....

Hi Duke Shibusawa 😃
By all means, Kashima sake other than Nabeshima is also quite high 👍.
Please give it a try ❗️

Hi Pon 😃.
It was a nice restaurant 👍.
The nori (seaweed) and the cream cheese 🧀 with sake lees were delicious!
This is a dangerous food that makes sake go down the drain 😁.

Rika, thanks for telling us about this great place💕.
It's a nice bar that I'd like to visit again and again👍
But after the Shinkansen starts operating, the number of conventional train lines will be drastically reduced and it will be inconvenient 💦....

Good evening, T.KISO🌇.
Is it the sake capital of Tohoku⁉️?
I can't decide because there are too many candidate places!
I might end up in Sendai 🤣.

Good morning, Haruei Chichi!
It's one of the best parts of traveling to get off the train and enjoy a drink 🍶(*´Yuki`*) And to have it attached to the station building! You can't go through without stopping by this one.

Good evening 😃
I'm jealous of your drinking comparison 😍
I haven't seen anything but Nabeshima here 😭
Sake capital of Japan 🤔.
If you're in Tohoku, I recommend Akita City in Akita Prefecture or Aizu Wakamatsu City in Fukushima Prefecture 🫡.

Good evening, etorannzyu!
I thought Akita would be the sake capital of Tohoku too, but then I saw Wakamatsu...
I can't get it together 😅.
