Moderate gassiness
The top notes are apple, grapefruit and strawberry.
The same slightly gorgeous aroma, soft rice flavor, and sweetness as the topping, spreads pizzazz with citrus-like acidity, and finishes with a slight bitterness.
Although fragrant, it is not overly sweet, and the acidity and bitterness give it a refreshing impression that goes well with meals or on its own.
It is a perfect accompaniment to my own American beef tenderloin, sauteed Hokkaido scallops and asparagus with butter, tsumire consommé soup, and Veranda fruit tomatoes.
