A sake brewery near Dogo Onsen. Like Saka and Motomasa, it was purchased at the Sake Expo in Harukas. They were sold out of 4 bottles so I got the Sandesi 😁. Seems like Dogo beer is more famous than sake 🤔. The top aroma is fruity. It has a refreshing yet tropical sweet taste. Sakurahime yeast is a yeast from a flower called Delphinium 🪻.

Hi Nemuchi 😃 It's a light drinker and I could linger on it forever 🤣. I think I'll open it tonight and perhaps next time it will go in a different direction 🤔. I'm looking forward to your review of this positive 😁.

Matsuyama, Ehime. Mizuguchi Sake Brewery Co. Nikitatsu Junmai Ginjo-shu, Sakurahime yeast. 3㌥ purchased at the Sake Expo; the 4-pack bottles were already sold out. Speaking of which, I was told to come back to the event to drink Dogo beer and also beer, so I tasted almost all of it. I really appreciate it. I had it cold. The color is clear with a slight yellowish tinge. The top aroma is of sweet tropical fruits, with a floral nose that stimulates the nostrils at the back. On the palate, it flows smoothly down the throat with a slight viscosity. The first taste has a rich honey sweetness, a brown sugar-like richness, and a fruity sweet flavor. All of the flavors are quite robust and rich. The floral aroma is followed by a slightly strong bitterness that lingers in the short aftertaste. Sakurahime yeast is extracted from a flower called delphinium, which has nothing to do with cherry blossoms. Ingredients: Rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic) Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: 15%.

Hi Nemuchi 🐦. Sakurahime is a delphinium 😳I thought it was a cherry-like flower 😅Pink delphiniums are rare, so maybe it was developed in Ehime 🤔Excuse me for talking about flowers 🙏.

Hi Pon, I was surprised that Sakurahime yeast is not cherry blossom 😅I didn't know delphinium is a flower 😅I learn a lot of knowledge even when I'm drinking normally 🤔.

Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO ② Mizuguchi Shuzo, a first time participant as well as Saka Shuzo I drank Nikitatsu Daiginjo at the Ogimachi Park event last year. Memory I drank Iyo's Awamozakura It had a clean and refreshing taste. I imagined it to be sweet, but it was light and dry. Junmai Ginjo Sakurahime Yeast Using Ehime's own flower yeast, Sakurahime yeast. It tastes sweet and fruity. The 4-unit bottle was sold out, so I bought a bottle of Zandesi. Hitotsu Daiginjo 35 I drank it at Ogimachi Park last year and it is still as gorgeous and delicious as ever! Nikitatsu 2024 Junmai Daiginjo I heard that this sake is made for overseas consumption with a rice polishing ratio of 30%. Gorgeous and absolutely delicious! They said it was a commemorative sake for the renewal of Dogo Onsen. NIKITATSU Daiginjo-genshu This sake is a raw sake version of Daiginjo 35, aged at a low temperature. Although it is a daiginjo, it has a strong umami flavor and is delicious! He said there are not many places in Kansai where you can buy Nikitatsu.

OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024⑮ Yomiuri Shimbun booth. Mizuguchi Sake Brewery is the only sake brewer in the Dogo area. In addition to sake, they also produce Dogo Beer and Dogo Cider. NIKITATSU Sanjugo Daiginjo. The taste was described as slightly dry, but the flavor was mild and gradually delicious. It has a clean aftertaste and finishes nicely. An authentic daiginjo. If it is polished this much, it must be serious and naturally tasty.

OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 202411 Visit the Yomiuri Shimbun booth again! Mizuguchi Sake Brewery in Ehime. It was the first time to visit here, too. This sake brewery is located near Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama City. Yamadanishiki rice polished to 35%. It was written as dry, but it was quite sweet with a gorgeous ginjo aroma. (Right? I forgot to take notes💦) Many of the sakes at this booth would have tasted better if they were a little more chilled!

Good evening, Nemuchi. I thought I wrote it down, but I almost completely forgot about Ehime sake 🤣I thought it would be embarrassing if I wrote a review that was too far off 💦.
