I tasted 7 kinds of sake at the Seishu Festival at Bozan Shoryakuji Temple and liked them.
I tasted seven kinds of sake at the Bozan Shorakuji Sake Festival and bought the Yatagarasu.
When I opened the bottle, it smelled like pickles and rustic herbs.
It has a delicious sweet taste when I tasted it, but the smell bothers me.
By the second day, the pickle smell had lessened a bit, but it still bothers me 😥.
On the third day, the smell is finally gone.
When I tried heating it up, it tasted better when it was cooled than when it was lukewarm, as the umami flavor spread out and the mild sweetness was entwined with it.

I opened a bottle of Sanmorosugi no Bodaihashi that I bought at Shoreki-ji before, two months after the production date, but I didn't notice any smell. I wonder if it depends on the product. Maybe it would have been better to let it sit for a while😅.
