Memories of the trip ④
The last thing I bought at Okayama Station that I didn't want to regret 😥 was this! It was a set of 3 bottles of Momo-no-Sato to compare. ‼️
Momo-no-Sato was one that T-Kaji had mentioned before and I wanted to try it with Winter Moon 🤗.
I couldn't take a picture of them here in Okayama, but I took a quick shot of them side by side from the train window on the way to Tottori 📸.
Now, we will compare these three bottles.
(1) Bizen Junmai Ginjo Gokujo Kanzukuri
This is the one that T-Kaji mentioned! It has a sweet aroma. When I took a sip, I found it to be tropical and sweet...no! It's so sweet....no!
(2) Nama Honjozo Junmai Sake
This one is sweet enough too, but with a little sourness and bitterness added to make it easier to drink.
(3) Bizen authentic dry Junmai-shu
Hmm? This is really authentic dry sake. ⁉️ Maybe it's because my tongue has been sweetened by the previous two bottles... but as I drink more, this might be the best one.
But as I drink it, I think this might be the best 😋 and Nobby, who doesn't like sweet, gave up early 😑.
But after a day, the sweetness settled down a bit and the acidity and bitterness on the back side came out 😄The dry taste is also very nice 😋.
Overall, I think it's a great taste for those who like sweet 🤗.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😃
Momo no sato, the classic specs are usually sweet enough to drink without worry 😋 the problem is availability 😥.
The raw sake here is soooo good! And it's cheap too 😁.

Good morning Jay & Nobby😃.
Train travel is nice 🚃 the slower you go the more you feel things... it's a luxurious way to spend your time 😊I'm not a fan of too sweet drinks 😅.

Hi Yoohee 😃
It might be different if you drink it while feeling the atmosphere of the place 🤗 by train 🚃 slowly! That's nice 😊.

I wanted to look for Peach Village when I traveled to Okayama, but unfortunately I couldn't find it 😢.

Good evening, J & N. 👋
I knew it was too sweet for you, Nobby 🤭.
If even the real dry sake is sweet, then all of Momonosato is sweet sweet 😆.
I also recommend Ishichi, a sake from Okayama 🤗.
It's a little dry but also fruity and delicious!

Hi T-Kaji 😃
We both kind of got a sweet taste in our mouths, even though it was dry it felt sweet 😆 but after a bit of time it felt slightly spicy 🤗.
