Timeline
ねむちKochi, Takaoka-gun, Kochi Prefecture. Bunbon Sake Brewery Co.
SHIMANTO KAORU.
Purchased at the Kochi Food Trip event at Hanshin Department Store a long time ago.
It's a sake in a pouch, so it didn't take up much space in the fridge 😅.
I looked at the capacity and it was 3㌥ pouches.
I will have it cold sake.
The color is clear with a slight yellowish tint.
The top aroma is a slightly sweet ginjo aroma.
The mouthfeel is soft and smooth.
The taste is mainly sour to slightly sweet, with a sour aftertaste that lingers on the tongue and a slightly sharp Japanese sensation.
The final taste is dry, so I think it is what I imagine Kochi-shu to be like.
According to bouken's information, it is also sold in bottles instead of pouches.
Ingredients: Rice (100% Niida rice from Kochi Prefecture), rice malt (rice from Kochi Prefecture)
Rice polishing ratio: 50
Alcohol content: 15%. boukenGood evening, Mr. Nemuchi.
The first time I saw it was at Kinoshita Meishu Store, but it was also sold in bottles at the antenna store in KITTE😅.
I wonder what was that time he was passionately talking about the goodness of pouches 🤔. ねむちbouken, good evening 🌛I see that's how you handle it 😊You certainly talked about the advantages of pouches, such as being able to take them with you on mountain climbs, durable materials, etc., but I guess it's hard for stores to display them 🤔. boukenSake purchased at an event in Kochi that Nemuchi and I went to.
It is a rare pouch type.
The rice is Towanishiki, which is not often heard of. It is said that it is a non-standard rice. It is fruity, slightly sweet, and has a bitter taste at the end.
A little bit of lemon squash 🤔.
Depending on the meal to be served with, it seems to be more bitter and spicy. ねむちKochi Food Trip - Full Kochi Trip (1)
Hanshin Department Store offered sake from 18 breweries in Kochi Prefecture at one time, so Mr. Bouken and I participated again 😁.
First, we went to the individual booths of the revived Bunmoto Sake Brewery, which we were most curious about.
We were greeted by Koei Jyudai, an energetic and charming watchman who travels back and forth between Osaka and Kochi.
Everything is in pouch type and all made with rice.
SHIMANTO "HANAYAGI"]
Made with Nikomaru. It has a strawberry-like aroma and is easy to drink due to its low alcohol content (13%).
SHIMANTO "KAORU
This is made with CEL24 yeast and rice called Towanishiki. It is a higher quality sake than Nikomaru, but it is a regular sake because it is made with rice that is not equal to Nikomaru. It is quite tasty, sweet and refreshing with a hint of acidity.
Junmai Daiginjo Nigori Nama-nihanzake Kirinosato
It was freshly opened and tasted sweet and delicious with a gaseous taste.
Junmai Daiginjo Nama-Nagori Nama-Harazake "SHIMANTO" BLUE Label
Fresh, well-balanced sweetness, umami, and bitterness.
The brewery is small with only 5 employees, and we were told the story of the brewery, starting with the gathering of the toji (master brewer) and brewers, the reworking of facilities, and the resumption of brewing, as well as the story of Niida rice and aromatic rice. sukebayFormerly Momotaro, the brewery was closed down due to the Corona disaster, but has since been revived, brewing mainly with local Kubokawa Niida rice instead of sake brewing rice.
Please visit us at ❗️ ロビンGood morning, Nemuchi!
It is rare to find a pouch type. ❗️
I am interested in CEL24 liquor, I would like to buy it if I find it. 😁
But I'm afraid I'll overlook it because it's a pack 💦. ねむちsukebay, nice to meet you 🙇The brewery has changed owners since it went out of business and started from scratch, so it's something to look out for 👍They said they plan to use Yamadanishiki, but I could feel their love and commitment to the local Niida rice 😊. ねむちRobin, good evening 🌛The pouch type makes it convenient to carry around, but I'm a little worried that it might be hard to display at liquor stores in town 😅The taste was my favorite, so if you like sweet and tasty, try it if you see it 😆. boukenKochi Food Trip - Full Kochi Trip (1)
I went to Hanshin Department Store to sample all 18 breweries in Kochi!
As usual, I was accompanied by Nemuchi 😁.
The first brewery we visited was Fumimoto Shuzo.
Unlike other breweries, they had individual booths!
They are a brewery that has taken over the business.
The person who helped us was the head brewer, who lives in Kochi and Osaka😳.
The event itself seemed to focus on U-turns and I-turns, and there were talk shows with Mr. Banto and the brewers of Toyonoume and Aki Tora.
A liquor store in Kobe used to sell a brand called Hinode Momotaro, but it seems that the business was taken over and they no longer sell it.
All the sake was in pouch type 😳.
I drank
Shimanto HANAYAGI
Rice is Nikkomaru. It's strawberry sweet and delicious!
Kiri-no-Sato Junmai Daiginjo Nigori Nama-Nagori Sake
It was freshly opened, so it was juicy, sweet and juicy, and extremely delicious.
Shimanto Junmai Daiginjo Nama-genshu
The rice is also Nikkomaru. It was juicy, umami and delicious 😋.
Shimanto Kaoru
This sake uses CEL-24 yeast and rice called Towamai.
It is said that the price is lower because the rice is out of the top grade.
Purchased the most reasonable 300ml Kaoru. boukenThey closed the warehouse in Corona for two years, and during that time, the management was replaced and the warehouse was reopened last year. しんじょうGood evening.
I guess the Kirinosato Honjozo is gone.
It was a good sake along with Hinode Momotaro.
Well, I'd like to go, but it's raining, so I'm not going. boukenHello Shinjo 😃
I see from the official website that Kiri-no-Sato is only Jun-Dai and Momotaro is sold out 😥Kirameki, an orthodox Junmai sake, seems to be the standard sake 🤔.
It's open until the 24th if you have time 🤗 ポンちゃんGood morning, bouken 🐥.
I was surprised to see all the pouches 😳💦It must be strange at first to pour a glass of wine 😆.
I've been seeing you lately as Nemuchi even if you don't write 🤣. boukenPonchan, good evening 🌃
Almost looks like it's packed in a pouch 🤔
It's like a refill pack of detergent 🤣.
I think I'm the same as Nemuchi-san 🤣. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
