Drinking at Kamima, a long-established izakaya in Kyoto After drinking the restaurant's original "Nada no Roku-kind Blend", we looked at the menu to try another sake and found a rare sake, so we had a drink. Tsukijyo Junmai Daiginjo. A clean, sweet aroma of rice, a clear mouthfeel, a mellow, fruity sweetness, and a pleasant aftertaste of sweetness that quickly fades away. The sake rice is grown in Saga, where Arashiyama is located in Kyoto, and it is brewed by Saito Shuzo, famous for Eikun. It is named "Gassho" after Saga, which is said to be famous for its moon. The dish was the "squid lizard meat" which was tempted by the menu, and the texture of the crispy and tasty squid meat and the saltiness and umami of the miso accelerate the sake. [While we were enjoying Kamima, Hirupeko-san and his friend came to join us and we had a great sake discussion ✨. The picture of the bottle was taken from the internet.

Thank you very much, Jive! I was the one who called Kamima to reserve a seat 🤣 but miraculously we met and had a crazy time. The moon prize was beautiful, pure and large, and the food was delicious 😋.

Hi Gyve, good evening. I see you enjoyed your holiday sake activities: ⤴️ Sake activities by yourself are fun, but it also sounds like a lot of fun to have a chat with several people about sake 😊.

Hi Hirupeco, good morning ☀☀☀. We had a great time yesterday 😁. I didn't expect the caller in front of me to be Hirupeko ✨. The all-Kyoto "moon prize" was also a memorable taste 😋.

Aladdin, thanks for your time here too. By the way, when I drink at home, I use a "half-moon tray" because I imitate "Kamima" 😁. I'm sure you'll enjoy the various ways of cooking the drunken ingredients of the day at this famous restaurant ✨.

Thanks again, ma-ki-, for your help here ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀. The first half of the evening was spent at the counter by myself, and the second half was spent at the table with my drinking buddies 😁. Everyone was a member who loves to drink, so it was a natural ✨.
