Purchased at the brewery along with unrefined, unfiltered, unpasteurized sake.
When I think of Zuicho, I think of Junmai Daiginjo, but they also have Junmai Ginjo 🤔.
And it seems they only have junmai ginjo in 1gou bottles and 3gou bottles.
It's low in alcohol, refreshing, and has a slight lactic acidity.
I think even people who don't like sake can drink it because there is almost no spiciness or alcohol taste.
I thought it got sweeter as the temperature went up.
Sawa-no-Tsuru Namahashimo Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu
I thought it was only available in the online store, but I went to the Sawanotsuru Museum Shop to see if I could purchase some at the direct sales counter right after the shipping date!
Thanks for the information!
The price in the online store includes cool shipping, so if you're in the area, you can get it for about 1000 yen cheaper in person, so it's a good deal 🉐.
It has a strong acidity and a powerful flavor with a lot of gusto.
I would have liked a little more sweetness, but maybe this is more typical of Sawanotsuru 🤔.
I feel sweeter on the second day.
Tasted Sawanotsuru Junmai Hara Sake and Koshu-brewed Umeshu (plum wine).
It was the first time for me to taste the sake. It was dry and tasted like it would go well with food.
The latter was very sweet with almost no sugar. It has a refreshing aftertaste.
Purchased at the Sawanotsuru Museum in Nishigo, Nada, Kobe.
This special junmai sake is made from 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The rice polishing ratio is a modest 70%, but the taste is clean, elegant, and free of cloying flavors. Perhaps this is due to the high quality of the sake rice.
The richness of the rice is not so strong.
It seems to go well with any dishes.
Thank you for the sake.
