Wednesday is sake day! Today we open a bottle of sake that we found at an antenna store in Yamaguchi 🍶. G# Gohashi G# Junmai Ginjo Sake rice: 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Yamaguchi prefecture Yeast: Yamaguchi Yamahai yeast Pour: 14% (served at room temperature) Nose: Banana-like with caramelized notes Mouthfeel: Lightly sweet with a slight tangy stimulation Medium: Mainly umami with gentle stimulation Aftertaste: Dry and sharp. It is a classic type of sake, but it is easy to drink and has a modern feel with a slight piquancy. It has been a long time since I have had a good cold sake. It went well with motsu nabe (hot pot)! Preference score: 8.0/10 Aroma: 1.5|Mouthfeel: 1.5|Medium: 1.5|Final taste: 1.5|Price: 2.0
