This is a sake for young people brewed by four young brewers at Sakai Shuzo, the brewer of Gobashi (Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture). It is an easy-drinking, low-alcohol sake with a crisp aftertaste that goes well with strong dishes.
The name "G#" is derived from "G," the first letter of Gobashi, the fifth chord in the guitar chord, and "#," a sharp "#" for its dry and crisp taste. The kraft paper on the bottle label is said to be an image of a simple, unadulterated, pure young brewer.
It is said to be a hard-to-find sake, but it is quite drinkable in Kagawa Prefecture.
