It is not a typical Japanese sake. It's kind of foreign... and when I think about it a lot... I feel some similarities to the taste of Shaoxing sake. I like it😊. My husband doesn't seem to like it much. He doesn't like Shaoxing wine either. I drank it hot.

This sake is from a sake brewery that was introduced to me by a local izakaya when I visited Hokkaido. It is not easy to find it in Honshu, but I found it in Sugitama! It's not the same brand, but it's my favorite sake brewery. Half a cup cold.
