Hiroshima Trip Day 4
To Koriyama Castle in Aki Takata City
Visited only the Museum of History and Folklore due to heavy fog.
After that, we went to Takehara Machinami Preservation District.
A town that once prospered from salt manufacturing and sake brewing
We went to Fujii Sake Brewery in the town.
I had wanted to visit this brewery for the past few years, as I had received some of the brewery's products through a friend of the brewery 😊.
I told them about a brand I used to drink and liked, and they told me it was New Year's.
limited edition and
I was allowed to try a similar tasting!
Ryusei Yuragi no Nagi Limited
It has a soft sweetness and fruity taste. ❣️
Sake made from sake rice called Hachitan
They said it is different from Hachitan Nishiki 😳.
Oh yes, next to it is the Fujii Masamune that Hiro-san bought!
Nice Masamune in a whisper 👍🤣.
I was going to buy sake after lunch but forgot 😱.
Lunch was Junmai Ginjo Takehara-yaki!
Local okonomiyaki with Junmai Ginjo Sake Lees from Takekaku, Fujii, Nakao and other sake breweries kneaded into the dough!
It's a thin batter, but it was delicious with the aroma and sweetness of the sake lees 😊.
Takezuru-san on the top right of the 3rd picture is closed 😢.
That's the end of our fun trip to Hiroshima 🙇.

Good evening, Pon-chan 😃.
You are enjoying Hiroshima to the fullest, from Aki Takata to Takehara 😊.
I worked in Aki Takata until 5 years ago, so I am very familiar with the city.
The ruins of Koriyama Castle is a mountain castle, so climbing it is a good workout👍.

Hi Ponchan 😊
I went on a trip to Hiroshima a long time ago, but I didn't have a picture of the sake 😅.
I only remember that oysters and sake are psycho~... 🤩.

Good evening, mariage 🦉.
That's not true 😳I'll have to refrain from that 🥺.
I've been in a sea-less prefecture since I was born, so I get excited when I go to places with good seafood 😆 I'm glad I got to try oysters too 梁 ❣️

Good evening, Yasube!
Hiroshima okonomiyaki dough is like a thin crepe, so I thought it might not taste so good... but it is slightly sweet and delicious 😊you have to try it to know 😂.

Good evening, Takubon-san!
You can see a lot in Fushimi at one time, but Saijo is really compact, you can see one chimney and then the next one 🎶.

Good evening, Kano🦉.
I see you've been there! In my case, the stamp of the castle is it 😆 I've been to quite a few castles, but I didn't have a stamp book, so I'm revisiting many of them 😅.
If you go there again, I'll post a Sake-no-wa post!
