I'm a day late in posting 💦.
Yesterday at 7:30 p.m., we had an event for Shiga Prefecture's sake, with a simultaneous toast initiated by Shiga Prefecture's Governor Mikazuki. Remote participation is now allowed after Corona, and I participated there.
Rice polishing ratio 70%.
Alcohol 16%.
This sake is made by blending junmai sake from 32 breweries that are members of the Shiga Prefecture Sake Brewers Association. They say it is blended to be well-balanced.
It has a complex and classic taste.
It started in 2015, but has exceeded 10,000 since 2020. I participate every year because I like the feeling of a band of people toasting together.
When I was buying this drink at the supermarket, there were two other people buying it and I made eye contact with them. I wondered if he was going to toast with us too 😆.

I haven't been to Shiga except to drive around Lake Biwa 🤔.

They grouped the blends so that they are almost evenly distributed 🤔LaughsThe Shiki Junmai Hi-iri is in the light dry group and the Nanabonjari Junmai 14° Genshu is in the dark mellow sweet group😊.
