I decided to do something I don't usually do 🍶: Lunchtime drinking ☀🍶.
I got my wife's permission to have a lunchtime drink and spent the morning working out at the gym and bathhouse to get ready for the day 😄.
We went to our regular restaurant, Yugamian Kamenya, a short walk from our house 🚶.
We ordered beer and konjak dengaku before we started the first Soba, and after quenching our thirst, we shifted to Oroshi Soba and Sake to start our meal 🍶.
Tsuneyama Junmai Dry Chokuchi
The aroma of rice is clear and full, the mouthfeel is smooth and clear, the flavor is clean and crisp, and there is a refreshing aftertaste and a lingering bitterness at the end.
I forget who said it, but it is the embodiment of the phrase "Fukui's sake is rich in flavor". The spiciness of the refreshing "oroshi-soba" goes well with the mellow flavor of "Tsuneyama".
Some restaurants in Fukui serve oroshi-soba separately from the broth, as shown in the fourth picture, so visitors to Fukui eat it dipped in the broth like mori-soba, while local residents basically eat it bukkake style, as shown in the first picture 😄.
I'm starting to feel drunk, so I'm going to walk a little more and go to the "Hashigo-zake" (lunchtime drinking) 🤣.

Hi, Gyve!
I'm not sure what to expect from a lunchtime drink, but it sounds like a situation where both fun and deliciousness would be doubled 🎵.
I see... I'll have to pour it over the separate servings 😲.
I will do that when I visit Fukui 😁.

Hi Gyve 😃.
A paid lunchtime drink is a special occasion 😆.
And soba and sake is the best 🥰.
Bukkake style, I'll keep that in mind so that when I go to Fukui, I don't have to worry about it 😆.

Hi Gyve 😊
Paid daytime drinking, isn't it great👍
I read in some izakaya that "life is great when you can drink from noon" 📝.
Oroshi soba and dry Fukui sake, that's a very typical start for you, Gyve-san!

Good morning, Gyve 😊.
I sometimes have a lunchtime drink too, but it's awesome 🤣.
Plus soba and sake are great too 🤩.
Tsuneyama + grated soba, I'm intrigued!

Hi Gyve 😃.
I like the daytime drink. ☺️
I used to be at a ryokan in front of Ashihara Onsen station for local construction and used to go to a Chinese restaurant in front of the station.

I remember there was a mysterious menu called "Oroshi Chuka Soba" and it was served with bukkake 😆.

Hi ma-ki-!
It was my first unscheduled pay in about 10 years since the head of my department changed in April this year to someone who is more proactive about paid work 🤣.
It may be offered over the beginning, but just for reference 🥰.

Hi, HinaHanaMama!
Many people go out to eat "oroshi soba" (buckwheat noodles with grated radish) in Fukui because the thickness of the noodles and the taste and spiciness of the grated radish soup vary depending on the restaurant 🥰.
Some stores even serve it with dashi broth ✨.

Hello, Hiro-san!
When I have a lunchtime drink in my hometown, I often have "Soba-nomi" because there is a drunken Soba-nomi restaurant nearby 🥰.
I sometimes see tourists and business travelers dipping their buckwheat noodles in the broth from a buckwheat noodle cup, just for reference 😄.

Hi Maru!
I love the [daytime drinking] that makes a lucky vacation even more extraordinary 🥰.
I'm mad at my wife for allowing me to do this, but I'm always trying to put in the roots 🤣.

Hello, Takashi!
Drinking alcohol in the light of day is very intoxicating 🥰.
I think it might be healthy in a way since I don't drink too much 🤣.
I recommend "Tsuneyama" and Fukui soba noodles ✨.

Hi Jay & Nobby!
I started pairing Soba with Sake after your review, so it was very helpful for me at the time 🥰.
We haven't had a chance to comment yet, but thank you for trying Tsuneyama 🙇.

Hello, 10ZG-STQ!
Were you involved in the construction of the Ashihara-Onsen station building when the Hokuriku Shinkansen started service in Fukui?
I'm not a builder myself, but I regularly entered the station building before it was completed, so we might have crossed paths 😲.

Mr. Gyve, unfortunately, it is not a bullet train.
It was a power plant for a paper company behind the Ashihara-onsen station.
It was built around 1994, so it was more than 30 years ago 😅.
I'm sorry to hear that😅.
My boss used to go to a grated buckwheat noodle shop in Mikuni

Good morning, Mr. Gyve 😊.
I see you are on a paid vacation for a lunchtime drink! The Tsuneyama and grated buckwheat noodles from 🍺 after a solid workout sounds delicious. Yes, the prefectural style is bukkake 😊 You can easily tell if you are a prefectural resident or an out-of-towner 😊.

I see 💡You were right 😄.
I think it must have had such an impact on you that you remember it even though it was more than 30 years ago ✨.
Please visit Fukui again if you have a chance🙇.

Good morning, Ao!
This extraordinary feeling is the best ✨
The more I see soba restaurants in front of train stations, the more I see people soaking their soba in broth, so I feel that the common way to eat soba outside of the prefecture is the "morisoba" way 🤣.
